LES ENRACINES
Les Enracinés is a 100% original wine, made from the Chardonnay grape variety and planted around the village of Chardonnay to the north of Mâcon. The Chardonnay grape has been grown here since the 11th century by generations of winegrowers who have put down roots in the land where they were born and who cultivate their vines with passion. This project was developed by Grégory Barbet, owner and winemaker in Southern Burgundy. Terroirs: We select plots that are planted around the village of Chardonnay, a renowned terroir nicknamed the ‘Pearly Slab’. These are predominantly chalky soils with the characteristic of producing pure, delicate wines. Vinification : The wine is vinified and bottled without the addition of sulphites and aged on fine lees for 6 months.
