Le Clos Cristal
Clos Cristal was founded by Antoine Cristal in 1890 in the commune of Souzay-Champigny. Behind its surrounding walls and gates lie 10 hectares of vines. More than 3 km of walls have been built around the estate, through which the vines have grown and flourished for 130 years. The vines planted on the north side grow along the wall. Passing through a hole, the shoots, foliage and bunches grow along the south-facing wall. With their feet in the cool air and their heads in the sun, the vines gain up to a month in ripeness !
