  Located upstream from the Pitrous valley, at the foot of the famous Cabrieres scales, the Plantabelle plot enjoys an exceptional soil and climate situation. Situated on the heights of the village at an altitude of 150m, this plot benefits from optimal sunshine and constant natural ventilation. Set in a forest environment where the holm oak rubs shoulders with the pubescent oak, a sign of a temperate Mediterranean climate, this plot is planted with old vines of Grenache noir and a touch of Syrah. The soils, made up of colluvial schist, are well drained and allow deep rooting, while moderating the vigour of the vines. Old vines, grape varieties adapted to the terroir, soils that regulate rainfall, small yields, biodynamic viticulture, perfect sanitary conditions and ripeness of polyphenols as a trigger for manual harvesting are the essential elements that contribute to the typicity of this cuvée.
