Our oenologists' opinion
Powerful bouquet
A frank, open nose, marked by sweet spices such as paprika, with notes of roasted pepper, mocha and mellow oak.
The attack is supple and well-balanced, offering a lovely suppleness on the palate.
The tannins mellow, giving way to a warm character of roasted spices.
Pleasant persistence, with a fairly full-bodied but not astringent finish.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

2021, a vintage of patience and precision!
• Early winter saw alternating cold and mild periods.
• In April, a historic frost event significantly reduced the harvest.
• A very rainy spring was followed by a slow-starting summer, which remained generally cool.
• A beautiful late season in September and October helped to preserve the grapes’ aromatic freshness and achieve a perfect balance between acidity and alcohol. -
