Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
Straightforward nose dominated by citrus and yellow fruit, opening up to aniseed notes and aromas of bergamot and white flowers.
Supple attack, marked by tension and freshness.
Frank and greedy character, with a touch of acacia.
A long finish with hints of honey.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

CAVE DE TAIN
Founded in 1933 by Louis Gambert de Loche, the Cave de Tain draws on the expertise of nearly 300 vintners, spanning approximately 1,000 hectares of vineyards, to produce wines with the appellations Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, Cornas, and Saint-Péray, as well as local wines.
Terroir: Granite-based soil covered with silt, loess, and limestone debris.
Vinification: Selection of old vines planted on the finest terraces of the appellation. Hand-harvested in pallox boxes the day before pressing, followed by cold storage for 24 hours. Gentle pressing upon arrival at the winery, with oxidation prevention starting from the first juice run-off. Cold settling for 24 hours.
Alcoholic fermentation begins in tanks at 18-20°C, then barrelled mid-fermentation.
Ageing: In 400L barrels: new (12%), 3 wines (26%), 4 wines (27%), and 6 wines (35%).
