Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and crisp
Very pale pink gold with white highlights. Open nose with notes of cherry, raspberry and white peach. Supple, greedy, tangy attack, with notes of pomelo and raspberry, crispness, medium body, straightforward. The finish is sapid, with a hint of minerality, freshness, a touch of white pepper and medium persistence on harlequin candy.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

GERARD BERTRAND
The vines are mainly located in the Tautavel region, in the heart of the vineyards of the South of France, ideally situated in Roussillon between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean. Grenache is the king grape variety for producing distinguished rosés. It expresses itself to the full thanks to the exceptional climate: low rainfall and optimum sunshine. When ripe, it develops all its light, fruity aromas in a contemporary style. This is one of the great grape varieties of southern France.
