Fruity and well-rounded

The nose is frank and straightforward, with aromas of candied red fruit enhanced by a hint of spice, adding depth and complexity.

 

On the palate, the attack is supple, supported by a medium body that ensures good balance.

 

The long finish is straightforward, dominated by flavours of candied fruit and herbs, expressing a frank character, albeit with a little roundness that softens the whole.

 

A harmonious, accessible wine, ideal for a convivial tasting.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Domain and appellation

  • DOMAINE DE GOUMARRE

    Domaine de Goumarre is grown on a variety of soils. Part of the vineyard is planted in siliceous soil, for suppleness, part in grey clay, for roundness, and part in red clay mixed with pebbles, for complexity.

     

    The grapes are harvested by hand and meticulously sorted in the vineyard. With a controlled yield of 30-35 hl/ha, this estate stands out for its authenticity and high standards of quality.
