Powerful bouquet

The nose is open, fresh and minty, with marked notes of stone and undergrowth, accompanied by a hint of herbs.

 

The attack is supple, supported by fairly firm tannins and good body.

 

The character develops into flavours of roasted plum and cocoa, with a slight hint of bitterness.

 

The finish is full-bodied, enhanced by spices and a hint of menthol, revealing great character and persistence.

Features

    Domaine Michelas St Jemms is an emblematic wine estate in the Crozes-Hermitage appellation, located in the heart of the northern Rhône Valley.

     

     Founded several decades ago, it has established itself as a key player in the region thanks to its commitment to quality and respect for winemaking traditions.

     

    Driven by a deep passion for their terroir, the owners grow mainly Syrah, the emblematic grape variety of the appellation.

     

    The estate benefits from ideal conditions, with clay-limestone soils and a Mediterranean climate, favouring optimal ripening of the grapes.
