Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
The nose is open, frank and pure, revealing notes of plum, violet syrup and pomegranate juice, with a greedy, frank character.
The attack is supple and distinctive, with silky tannins and little body but plenty of tension.
Character marked by fresh red fruit and fresh violets.
The finish is fairly spicy and typical, with a hint of paprika and a long finish with hints of garrigue.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

MATHILDE CHAPOUTIER
Stony spread (limestone fragments) on a clay-based matrix.
Loess, a deep and well-draining soil, ensures a steady yet moderate water supply throughout the vine’s vegetative cycle.
On this type of soil, Syrah contributes fruitiness and suppleness to our blend.
The plots located at the edge of the garrigue benefit from a superb south-facing exposure.
These parcels will provide the blend with power and structure. -
