Our oenologists' opinion
Powerful bouquet
The straightforward nose opens with notes of spices and roasted black fruit, before evolving into a more mellow structure where woody and spicy notes blend naturally with the character of the wine.
On the palate, there is a hint of roasted black fruit and pepper, adding depth and character.
The wine has a pleasant persistence, extending the warm, well-integrated body with simplicity.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

CHÂTEAU KEFRAYA
It was in 1946 that the construction of the château began, built on a tell, an artificial hill erected by the Romans centuries earlier to monitor troop movements.
Drawn by the beauty of the site, the visionary founder Michel de Bustros undertook extensive work to establish the vineyard of Château Kefraya on these magnificent slopes.
