Powerful bouquet

Brick colour with dark garnet highlights. Winey nose, typical of pepper, faded violets, notes of blackcurrant syrup. Good balance on a fleshy wine, small envelope. Nice signed character, melted and supple tannins, good length.

Features

    The Clos de l'Echo is located opposite the fortress of Chinon. The clay-limestone soil is exceptional due to the presence of blue marl. The grapes are always harvested very late (mid to late October).
