Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
Lemon yellow colour with some fluorescent highlights. The nose is frank, rather heavy and typical of hazelnuts, walnut kernels and mentholated notes. Good balance on a frank wine, quite full-bodied and round. Signed character. Fresh, slightly acidic finish.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Do you know ?
Roussanne, a Rhône varietal commonly called Bergeron in Savoie, is often associated with Marsanne. In Savoie, it is known as the sole variety of the Chignin Bergeron cru.

Domaine Philippe & Sylvain Ravier
Located in the Combe de Savoie, the Domaine Philippe & Sylvain Ravier has more than 40 years of history and know-how passed down from father to son. The story of the estate began in 1980 with Philippe Ravier, descendant of a family of Savoyard winegrowers, who set up his own business in Myans. In 2008, Sylvain joined his father in the beautiful adventure of wine and shared with him the passion and pride of a job well done and respect for the land. From 3 hectares in the 80's to 45 hectares today, the Domaine favours a great diversity of terroirs, wines and appellations.
