CHÂTEAU LA NOË
La Noë was built in the first half of the 19th century on the site of a 17th century noble residence that was totally destroyed during the French Revolution. The Orangery and outbuildings, probably built around 1823-1826, are arranged around a square tower and built in the Tuscan style with brick frames. The Italianate-style Château was built between 1835 and 1837 by Louis-Joseph Chaigneau (a pupil of Lemot), who was influenced by the great Nantes architects of the Empire period: Crucy and Ceineray.
