Powerful bouquet

Straw-yellow colour with green glints. Beautiful open, typical and powerful nose of white flowers, passion fruit, blackcurrant buds followed by mineral notes of oyster shells, hints of citrus zest, hints of vanilla. Well-balanced, full-bodied, straightforward. Beautiful finesse on mineral notes, dry and nervous. Beautiful length with a hint of vanilla woodland which is still young but promising.

Since 1881, Castle Bouscaut takes its name from the locality, replacing Haut Truchon name’s.

Le domaine et l'appellation

  • DOMAINE LURTON

    Splendid area of the seventeenth century, the Château Bouscaut is located in the commune of Cadaujac in the AOC Pessac-Léognan. In 1953, it received the title of Cru Classé de Graves for its white and red wines. Restored in the 70s, the castle was bought in 1979 by the Lurton family, owner of Brane-Cantenac and other famous wines.
     
    Terroir: This area of 40 hectares is based on clay, gravel and limestone soils.
     

    Viticulture: Harvesting is done manually.
