Fruity and crisp

Pale salmon colour with rose gold highlights. Open nose with notes of redcurrant, blood orange and bergamot, with a hint of aniseed. The attack is perky and full-bodied, with tension, finesse and good balance. The finish is fleshy and crisp, with lingering citrus notes and a hint of iodine.

Features

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

    A magnificent pale pink colour, aromas of fresh fruit and refreshing acidity - this is Miraval's interpretation of the terroirs of Provence. This is Miraval's interpretation of the terroirs of Provence. The grapes are mainly harvested in the morning, then sorted and de-stemmed. Cinsault, Grenache and Rolle are pressed directly. The Syrah is vinified by bleeding. Vinification in stainless steel vats, under temperature control (95%) and in barrels (5%) with stirring.
