With Gamay as main grape variety, the Beaujolais vineyard spreads across 9,400 hectares to produce wines in Beaujolais, Beaujolais-Villages and Beaujolais Supérieur appellations. Light and gouleyant or intense and tannic, the Beaujolais gives each year in November a glimpse of the new vintage in primeur, the Beaujolais Nouveau.
