Built in the 12th century, Château de la Pierre was one of the main fortified points defending the capital of the Sires de Beaujeu. Owned by the Loron family, it covers 12 hectares of 50-year-old vines;

Domain and appellation

SOIL: Soil composed of weathered granite and decomposing ‘blue stone’:

VINIFICATION & REFINEMENT: Hand-picked, partial destemming followed by a 15-day maceration. Aged on fine lees in stainless steel vats.
