Powerful bouquet

Deep yellow colour with golden highlights. The nose is open and expressive, with notes of honey, dried apricot, white flowers and liquorice. Greedy attack, with notes of honey and mocha, tension, finesse and fullness. Powerful, well-balanced finish, with coffee, gingerbread and hints of spice, a hint of honey and good persistence.

The reputation of this important wine-growing commune is well established. Ammerschwihr lies 8 km north-west of Colmar and its vineyards stretch across the sub-Vosgian hills at an altitude of 240 to 320 metres;
