Domain and appellation

  • CHÂTEAU HAUT-MARBUZET

    Founded in 1848 following the division of the Mac-Carthy family's estates, the Château Haut-Marbuzet began its rise to prominence in 1952 when Hervé Duboscq became the owner.

     


    This success continued in 1988 when his son, Henri, purchased the Château Mac-Carthy, which was nestled within the same terroir.
    It was completed in 1997, when the renovated vineyard reached its ideal age.


    From then on, these two beautiful estates were unified. The Mac-Carthy label was used for the commercialisation of wines made from the youngest vines.
