Fruity and crisp

The nose is open and floral, with pretty notes of lilac, hawthorn and flint, as well as fresh almonds.

The attack is tangy and greedy, with creamy bubbles offering good balance.

The character is marked by minerality and white flowers.

The finish is sapid, with good balance and a light lingering finish of white flowers, followed by lemony notes and a pleasant bitterness.

BOUVET

Founded in 1851 by Etienne Bouvet, son of a cooper, the Bouvet-Ladubay house is a true historical monument of fine Loire bubbles. Through 160 years of history and passion, the Saumur-based house has crafted numerous cuvées with unmatched expertise, always adhering to the motto of Etienne Bouvet, which is Excellence.

Located in the heart of the A.O.C. Saumur in Saint-Hilaire-Saint-Florent, this historic house is known for its 8 kilometers of caves carved into tuffeau. In 2015, the house was purchased by the Monmousseau family.

Viticulture: The Bouvet-Ladubay house sources its grapes from about one hundred partner winegrowers.
