Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
Bright and luminous golden colour. Fine and elegant nose of white pears, citrus zest, orange blossom notes, hint of milk caramel. Well-balanced, straightforward, with finesse, nice fruity character, floral notes and then toasted wood. Nice long finish with roundness but also freshness.
- Keeping level Ready to drink
Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

NIKKA
Blended Malt named after the founder of Nikka, Masataka Taketsuru. Recognised as the founding father of Japanese whisky, Taketsuru was the first Japanese to travel to Scotland to learn about whisky making and to bring this knowledge back to Japan. As a meticulous craftsman, Taketsuru has always sought perfection in the blending of his whiskies. Nikka has drawn inspiration from this personality trait to create Taketsuru Pure Malt. Blended from casks from Yoichi and Miyagikyo, Nikka's two distilleries, this whisky offers a magnificent balance between great smoothness and deep complexity.
