Our oenologists' opinion
Powerful bouquet
Cloudy old gold dress. Beautiful rich and complex nose of dried banana, candied peaches, cherries in brandy then roasted, finely toasted wood, vanilla, hint of smoked ventresca. Nice balance on a full, round, full whisky. Beautifully sustained in the mouth, with an open character and aromas of grilled, roasted and mocha, notes of fresh fruit. Nice straightforward, straightforward, powerful and quite refreshing.
- Keeping level Ready to drink
Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

ROYAL BRACKLA
A single malt from the Highlands on the border of Speyside, this whisky was nicknamed 'The King's Own Whisky'.
In 1835, this more than two hundred year old distillery was honoured to become the first whisky to be awarded the Royal Warrant, a label which means that the product is consumed by the King. Brackla thus became Royal Brackla. A very confidential distillery with a modest production, Royal Brackla is seeking to come out of the shadows with a new range launched in 2020, thus putting this distillery back on the scotch map for all to see.
