Powerful wine with potential

Colourless. Nice, frank, powerful and typical nose of flambéed bananas, sugar cane, fresh notes of citron, hint of vanilla. Beautiful balance on a full-bodied rum, sweetness and finesse. The alcohol is melted, notes of coconut and white flowers. Beautiful lingering finish with fresh aromas of citrus and candied fruits.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

    Located in the Lamentin region, in the heart of the island of Martinique, the La Favorite distillery is renowned for the naturally sweet flavours of its white rums. In fact, they are reputed to be the sweetest in the Martinique AOC. Its Coeur de Canne cuvée is an AOC Martinique white agricultural rum. Supple and round, it honours the reputation of La Favorite rums.
