Powerful wine with potential

Fine fragrances of hazelnut, fresh almond and blond caramel followed by peated scents are released by this shiny copper-colored whisky. In mouth, it is an impression of balance that dominated, also unveiling its great temper.

Keeping level Ready to drink

Features

Body The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Domain and appellation

Glenmorangie
The Glenmorangie distillery was founded in 1843 by William Matheson. It features the highest distilleries in Scotland which are about 8 metres high. Since 2004, Glenmorangie has belonged to the French group LVMH.
- Distillery: The Glenmorangie Distillery is north of the Highlands, near the town of Tain, Scotland.
- Manufacturing: After being aged for 10 years in barrels of Bourbon, this single malt completes its maturation in barrel of Porto Ruby for 2 additional years.Robe pink gold, aromas of tangerine and Belgian chocolate. A silky texture accompanies a rich black chocolate velvet and nuts. A long finish on mint and fresh oranges.

Un véritable délice. Le goût, la texture, la finale, un des meilleurs whiskies que je connaisse avec le redbreast qui est lui, un whiskey.

Belle découverte pour amateur de single. Originalité provenant du passage en fût de porto. Association improbable : tomate cerise enroulé dans une feuille de basilic.
