Our oenologists' opinion

Powerful bouquet

Colourless transparent dress. Nice fresh nose of lemon zest, juniper berries, quite mentholated notes. Nice balance, full-bodied, roundness, the alcohol is well blended, character on citrus zests, gentian, fresh spices. Beautiful frank and tense lengthening.

  • Keeping level Ready to drink

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Do you know ?

Gin was invented by the Dutch in the twelfth century, before being introduced in England in the seventeenth century, a period during which the high cost of beer brought the population to turn to gin.

Established in 1999, Hendrick's gin is the only gin to add cucumber species of Holland and rose petals of Bulgaria, offering both a refreshing taste and a delightful floral aroma. The bottle looks like Victorian era apothecary bottle.

    • Distillery: The distillery Hendrick's is located in the region of Ayrshire, Scotland.
