Well-rounded

Dark mahogany colour. Open, greedy nose, with notes of candied fruit, figs and bourbon vanilla, and a hint of coffee. Round, greedy attack, sweetness, fatness, small body. Vanilla and coconut character, round and easy. Sweet finish of vanilla syrup and roasted coconut, with a hint of spice.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

    Santiago de Cuba Extra Añejo 11 ans is produced in the Oriente region of southern Cuba. Known as the birthplace of light Cuban rums, Santiago offers us a DOP Cuba rum with delicate aromas of vanilla and almond. The nose reveals notes of tropical fruit with a hint of coconut. On the palate, vanilla and coconut stretch out over roasted almonds for a spicy finish.
