Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and well-rounded

Deep copper colour. Pretty nose on the finesse and open of candied yellow fruits, apricot, yellow peaches, quince paste, smoky, slightly iodized notes. Good balance, full-bodied, hint of sweetness, the mouth is not yet well melted, the alcohol is still slightly dominant. Straightforward finish with candied yellow fruit and a fresh hint of candied ginger.

  • Keeping level Ready to drink

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Do you know ?

Only whiskies distilled, raised and bottled in Scotland may bear the scotch name.

Domain and appellation

  • Johnnie Walker

Founded in 1820 by John Walker in Kilmarnock, Scotland, the distillery now belongs to the Diageo group. Official supplier of the Court of England since 1934, it is one of the most sold Scotch brands in the world.

    • Johnnie Walker Green Label is the result of a meticulous assembly of four exceptional whiskeys.
A harmonious marriage of sweet and fruity Malts of Speyside (Linkwood and Cragganmore) and powerful and peaty Malts of the islands (Talisker and Caol Ila).

    • Perfectly balanced, the individual characteristics of each of these Single Malts are necessary to the development of Johnnie Walker Green Label. They allow the blend to express the intensity of aromas of cut grass and fresh fruit. Notes of precious wood, smoke, pepper, vanilla and sandalwood.
