Fruity and well-rounded

Straw-coloured with an old gold sheen.

 

Clear nose of caramel, toasted cereals.

 

Opens with aromas of toasted wood and a hint of vanilla.

 

Supple attack with roundness and finesse, on dried fruit, long, frank, greedy finish, character on dried apricot, finesse.

 

A hint of salt and good persistence.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

    LES BIENHEUREUX have been distilling whisky for 10 years at the BERCLOUX distillery.

     

    They chose to blend their single malt with 2 other single malts, also French, to achieve a synthesis of French whisky.

     

    The whole is finished in French oak barrels.
