Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and crisp
This Deutz champagne has a brilliant lemon yellow colour, with fine, persistent bubbles.
A fine, elegant nose of fresh hazelnuts and flaked almonds, with fresh peppermint notes and a hint of chalky minerality.
Well-balanced and straightforward.
Beautiful finesse, the bubbles are creamy and mellow, the character is straightforward with notes of gingerbread, brioche, mocha and a hint of minerality.
The finish is clean, taut and sapid.
For an aperitif, a cold buffet or ...on its own!

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Do you know ?
Champagnes are classified under three different categories, the crus, grands crus and premiers crus. Among 320 crus, 17 are rated as grands crus and 44 as premiers crus.
