Our oenologists' opinion

Well-rounded

Brilliant lemon yellow colour, nose to be opened then of dried fruits, toasted bread, toasted, bubbles present, without finesse, good balance on a rather light Champagne, rather round, the bubbles lack of melting but frank. A rather light champagne with a good bouquet.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Do you know ?

The Léonie growth is a tribute to the one who founded this prestigious Ludes maison back in 1868. Canard Duchêne is one of the few Champagne maisons to be tied to its Montagne de Reims terroir.

  1. Jennifer

La cuvée Léonie est un champagne frais doux léger pétillant. Sa robe couleur doré est un plaisir pour les yeux. Pour moi il est incontestablement le meilleur!
