Well-rounded

Bright, luminous lemon-yellow colour. Clear nose of white butter, vanilla, hints of biscuits. Good balance, fairly melted bubbles, character on the biscuit, white fruits. Hints of cream of milk, small frank lengthening with a hint of sapidity.

With the Decree of 25 May 1728, King Louis XV left his mark on French wine history by giving Champagne its birth certificate. He authorised only wines from this region to be sold and transported in bottles. At last, the bubbling could take place in the bottle: champagne was born.

Domain and appellation

De Venoge
Situated in Epernay, the Maison de Venoge was founded in 1837 by Henri-Marc de Venoge. The Cuvée Louis XV is the prestige cuvée of the Maison de Venoge and is produced only in very great years.
- Vinification: This champagne has aged 10 years in the cellar in order to highlight its exceptional qualities and the skills of the cellar master.
