Fruity and crisp
Its straw color offers a nice, frank and fresh nose of white flowers, bread and chalky notes. On the palate, this champagne has a nice balance with character on yellow fruits, notes of candied fruit, hint of gingerbread and good freshness. The bubbles are melted.

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Do you know ?
The term "Négociant- Manipulant" is indicated on the label of Bellefon Besserat, noting that the grapes are purchased, in part or in whole, to be fermented with those of the domain.

Besserat de Bellefon
Founded at Aÿ in 1843 by Edmond Besserat, the Besserat Bellefon House is now part of the Lanson-BCC Group (Boizel Chanoine Champagne).
- Viticulture: The House of Besserat Bellefon has a vineyard of 25 hectares, mainly located in the Marne Valley and relies on a network of growers from the BCC Group to source the grapes.
- Vinification: Like the Maison Lanson, the champagnes of Besserat House Bellefon do not undergo malolactic fermentation. After bottling, the wine will rest slowly on lees for 3 years, providing a better maturity.
