Powerful bouquet

This Chateau de Bligny champagne has a fairly deep lemon-yellow colour, with fairly fine, regular bubbles.

 

A clean nose with mineral notes, citrus fruit, passion fruit and a hint of gunflint.

 

Well-balanced with a medium body, lively and frank.

 

Mineral character.

 

Clean, taut finish.

 

Mainly an aperitif champagne, but can also be enjoyed with a cold buffet.

    Built in 1773 by the Marquis de Dampierre on the foundations of a medieval castle, the Château de Bligny stands out for its unique architecture.

     

    It is also the only Champagne estate to bear the Château designation.

     

    Terroir : Located near the Cistercian Abbey of Clairvaux on the Côte des Bars, the estate spans over 20 hectares.

     

    Winemaking : Produced using the traditional method, this Blanc de Blancs Champagne is made exclusively from Chardonnay.
