    The monks of St. Sixtus brewed what is considered the best beer in the world, Westvleteren, for many years. Saint Bernadus Abt 12 is based on the same recipe.

        Characteristics: Brewed since 1946 with the same recipe. Internationally renowned.

        Tasting notes: A brown beer with mahogany highlights and aromas of ripe fruit, liquorice and caramel. Sweet beer with roasted and spicy notes.
