CHEVAL NOIR
The Saint-Emilion terroir, which is made up of clay-limestone and siliceous and gravelly soils, combined with the growing method, produces fine, fruity wines that are consistent from one year to the next. Since 2010, Hubert de Boüard, oenologist and co-owner of Château Angélus, a neighbour of Cheval Noir, has been involved in the production of Cheval Noir Saint-Émilion wines, bringing his expertise and know-how. Once selected, the different batches are blended and matured with the aim of preserving the fruit, balance and roundness. The quality of the partner producers, the mastery of the selection of the tasting committee and the maturing process allow us to have a regular quality over the years while respecting the typicality of the terroir and the expectations of consumers. -
