Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and light
A beer with an airy, creamy head. Amber in colour. Clean nose of fresh cereals, sweet spices and hints of cornflakes. Supple attack with a hint of sweetness, balanced and full-bodied. Clean, long finish with fresh cereals, yellow fruit and hints of honey. Fresh and thirst-quenching. Good persistence, nice non-alcoholic beer.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.
Do you know ?
The Leffe abbey and brewery seemed to be a distant memory when, in 1952, Father-Abbot Nys and Albert Lootvoet decided to revive the Leffe brewing tradition and its well-kept recipe to offer a whole range of Leffe beers, each as delicious as the next! Ab-Inbev has taken up the torch and is committed to keeping the tradition of Leffe beer alive, which has endured since 1240.
